Behind the KERA brand are us, Nikol and Veronika, cousins. We have been building our family brand since 2018. Our passion is to create original ceramics and teach you to relax and enjoy the process of making ceramics!

Working with ceramics energizes us, fills us internally, and satisfies us. We see meaning in the craft and take it upon ourselves to expand and support interest in ceramics among the general public.

KERA

Since 2017, we have come a long way full of surprisingly easy and challenging moments. Throughout this time, we have been shaping the values and philosophy of the KERA brand. Although we are not at the end of our journey, we know we are in the right place. We developed the concept of a self-service studio at the turn of 2018 and 2019. It took us three years to secure technical backup, necessary investments, and find a suitable space.We have always thought about the self-service studio with an open mind and trust that our customers will act considerately in the studio space, with respect and responsibility for properly closed doors and a clean workspace. By realizing the studio, we have made it possible for you to spend more time in our space than we do ourselves. You can come to relax, listen to your favorite music, bring your friends, and create your own atmosphere, your vibe. And if you want, we are here for you during courses, workshops, and online lessons. We are here for you like an older sister who is happy to advise you, teach you new things, and when you need it, pour you prosecco and tell you to let things float.Everything will work properly together with you. Nikol

Nikol is the head and soul of the KERA brand. She is a trained artistic ceramist, has been creating ceramics for over twenty years, and has fifteen years of experience in throwing on the wheel and producing utility ceramics, so she can throw ceramic pieces with great precision and replicate them very accurately. Nikol leads throwing courses in Brno, and for over four years, she also led our modeling courses. Her creation comes in waves. The popularity of hand modeling is replaced by a desire for throwing, and sometimes she prefers to focus solely on testing glazes. These phases are often triggered by ongoing projects that require preparation and focus on one specific prominent element in Nikol's minimalist designs.

Veronika

Veronika is the co-founder of the brand, her strategy and commercial content. She is the leader in setting up KERA studio branches, takes care of the company's background, and handles operational agenda, marketing, and finance. Alongside KERA studios, she and Nikol are behind the project 'Flowers in the Apartment.' She designs and implements plant installations in large companies and households. When growing houseplants, she tries to apply permaculture principles as much as possible and think sustainably. She also goes to the KERA studio in Brno to relax and create ceramic products for her own use, mainly flower pots!
