You will try and learn to work with different ceramic clays. You can work according to the assignment of the lecturer or freehand according to your mood. During the course you will try different techniques of hand building and decorating clay. You can finalize your products with various glazes or engobes. You will understand the drying and firing system. The price of the course includes two packages of clay of your choice, the necessary glazes and engobes, crayons, wax crayons and firings. All the necessary tools and aids are at your disposal. Snacks, coffee, tea or prosecco are available on the course, depending on what you fancy. During the course, we work in a calm and relaxing environment - we light candles, listen to calm music. A cheerful mood and laughter is also very welcome! The hand building course in KERA was such a fun time spent. I looked forward to it every week. Everything took place in a very friendly environment and with great people. Lecturer Luca showed us everything necessary and introduced us to various techniques for working with clay. During the course, we could model anything we thought of, and Luca helped and advised us throughout the lesson. I completed both courses - pottery wheel and hand building and I was very satisfied. Now I go to KERA to create on my own. It is my favorite form of relaxation. And if I'm not sure about something, I use the Monday consultations, when Luca is present in the studio and is willing to give advice on everything. It can be seen that the entire studio is run by professionals who have experience with ceramics and are trying to pass it on.
