Description
The bowl is made of fireclay clay, which is fired at a high temperature. Such firing turns the clay into a solid sintered stoneware, which is rougher, more massive and wilder to the touch. And immortal.

The bowl carries a white glaze all the way to the bottom of its shape. The white allows the clay to shine through, creating an impressive multi-layered decoration. The edge of the shard is polished so that the clay is visible in profile.
